Long after the salad had been cleared, the male bartender said the escargot would be right out. We waited and waited and waited, and periodically wondered where the escargot was. I expected the escargot to come out any second. My husband got his Caesar salad bread and butter. I ended by asking for bernaise sauce on the side. I said we’d start with escargot and my husband ordered a Caesar salad and a large filet for us to share. Soon after, the male bartender took our dinner order. He was there for at least 10 minutes before anyone took his drink order, not sure if it was the male bartender or female bartender. My husband sat down a few minutes after me. I also explained that my husband would order his drink when he arrived. The male bartender took my drink order and I asked for 2 waters. It was basically empty, a couple at each end of the bar.
We got there about 5:30 and my husband dropped me off to confirm seats at the bar.
The male bartender has waited on us many, many times. There was a male bartender and a female bartender. We have been going to this restaurant for years. Not for a Valentine’s Day dinner, but because we wanted a great filet.
